I have no idea what kind of yarn it is, what brand, or what the fiber composition is. But it is maroon, and soft, and I love it. I think it wants to be a hat.

Frogging already
I made a long, thick, glorious, soft scarf in Rowan Big Wool Arctic. I unfortunately did not join the two skein ends together, so I ended up with big ugly pieces that need to be woven into the rest of the scarf. That did not go well, so I think I am going to tear the whole thing out and start over again. It only took a few hours to make, and the yarn is so delicious that I won't mind making it over again. I almost want to keep on tearing it out and re-doing it just so I can feel the yarn!
I found a cheap Internet source for more Rowan Big Wool. TROUBLE.

I have a problem.
I love yarn. I've only been knitting for a few weeks, but I already have a 20-gallon Rubbermaid tote that is full of yarn. And a basket. And a tote bag. I have two finished scarves, two in progress, and grand plans for baby hats. We'll see how it goes.
